Oh what an Awesome, loving Heavenly Father to bless his children with the unspeakable, indescribable, wonderful scent of the honeysuckle flower, wafting heavily, moving smoothly through the night air. I took a walk up the driveway after dark tonight, and the sweet, sweet scent followed me, enveloped me, clung to me on the cool night breeze. Oh to share it with you, even just a whiff of what I was experiencing as the pleasant night air washed away the heat of the day. I looked up above and marveled at the twinkling stardust scattered across the darkness, sparkling like diamonds in the sun. The lightening bugs and the glowworms were showing off, the tree frogs were singing at the top of their voices and the big daddy bull frogs in yonder pond croaked out their mournful, soul song. Across the river, a campfire burned bright on the bank as the chug, chug of a barge made it's way upriver to the tune of the whippoorwills calling in the hollow. Wow! a very pleasant walk indeed. Just needed someone to share it with. Any takers for tomorrow night. The honeysuckle is calling.
